Our Projects

Liga Tomasino is currently sustaining two programs for the Men's Basketball Team.

Supplementary meals for the Tigers. The earnings from the "Black and Gold Affair" was used to provide supplementary meals for the players in the Lopez Canteen, P. Noval Street. We have alloted the amount of P21,000 for this project. The remaining P5,000 was turned over to the coaching staff as witnessed by a UST Public Affairs staff.

We've deposited an additional P10,000 on August 19, 2009. The money came from the auction sales held during the "Rakrakan at Rampahan 2." Although the event was a collaboration of different alumni orgs in the university, it was Liga members who bought the items thus the money was turned over to the project of our choice.

Cash incentives. To reward the efforts of the excelling players, we started giving out cash incentives in Season 72 to the best player of a winning UAAP game. To date, we have given a total of over P10,000 to different players. The money comes from the voluntary contributions of the members.
